Brandon Cole was hired as an assistant coach for the Fresno Pacific men's basketball program in August of 2016.
Cole serves as an assistant for post players, recruiting coordinator, academic supervisor, assists with scouting and film prep and recruits Northern California and out of state.
Cole comes to FPU after five years at Sierra College, where he served as associate head coach last season after four years as the top assistant. While under head coach John Fusano at Sierra, Cole helped leaded the Wolverines to the state playoffs four-out-of-five years, and saw them ranked top ten in the state every season. While at Sierra, Cole oversaw recruiting, ran camps, monitored academic progress, oversaw the strength and conditioning program and coordinated travel.Â
Cole played two years at Sierra College, one year at Dakota State University and finished his career at Ashford University.
He has bachelor’s degree in sports recreation and management from Ashford, and also holds a master's degree in business administration.
