Biography

As a Junior (2015) - Pitched in 10 games out of the bullpen for the national champion Sunbirds....posted an 8.40 ERA in 15 innings pitched while striking out nine....threw two scoreless innings in win at Sonoma State (2/2).

As a Sophomore (2014) - Appeared in one game out of the bullpen at Cal State Stanislaus, surrendering a hit, a walk and a hit by pitch in 2/3 of an inning.

2013 - Medical Redshirt

As a Freshman (2012) - Made seven appearances out of the bullpen for the Sunbirds...posted a 4.82 ERA with 9 1/3 innings pitched and five strikeouts....tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings out of the bullpen at Biola (4/16).

Prior to FPU - Played four years of baseball at Clovis North High School, including three on varsity for coach Chris Patrick…. was a 2nd Team All-CMAC selection and led his team in ERA…. pitched a complete game one-hitter against Liberty-Bakersfield…. also played basketball and was a 2nd Team All-CMAC selection and named Madera Kickoff Tournament MVP.

Personal - Born January 5…. son of Bud and Lois…. two siblings are Taime and Brook…. favorite food is pizza…. favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers…. favorite athlete is Tim Lincecum…. attends New Harvest Community Church…. Principal’s Honor Roll student all four years of high school and a lifetime CSF member…. Tyler is a Kinesiology major with plans to become a physical therapist.
