As a Junior (2016) - Made eight relief appearances on the mound....allowed one run in 4.1 innings....recorded five strikeouts....posted a 2.08 ERA.

Prior to FPU - Pitched at Porterville College for coach Jake Kiser....prepped at Bullard High School, where he played baseball for four years, including two on varsity for coach Chad Thornhill.

Personal - Son of Steven and Rosa Garcia....has five siblings: Phillip, Steven, Eric, Joseph, and Anthony....chose Fresno Pacific because of the opportunity to further his education while playing baseball....person he most admires is his mom....likes to eat french fries....favorite move is I Love You, Man....roots for the LA Angels....favorite athlete is C.J. Wilson....attends St. Anne's Church....hobbies include spending time with family, hanging out with friends and playing video games....Nick is a kinesiology major with plans of becoming a physical therapist.
