As a Junior (2014) - Pitched in 23 games out of the bullpen for the national champion Sunbirds, leading the team with a 2.35 ERA and three saves....walked just three batters in 30 2/3 innings pitched....threw three innings out of the bullpen to earn the save in the team's World Series opener vs. Bluefield (5/14)....tossed two scoreless innings in regional playoff victory at Azusa Pacific (5/8)....threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win vs. Point Loma (4/11).

Prior to FPU - Spent two years at Fresno City College playing under coach Ron Scott....played four years of baseball at Kerman High School, including three on varsity for coach Jay Preuss....also played basketball.

Personal - Born February 21....son of Manuel and Mary Rodrigues....has one brother, Manuel....favorite food is sushi....enjoys Will Ferrell movies....favorite book is Nights in Rodanthe....favorite musical artist is Tyga....favorite song is Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn....favorite teams are the San Francisco Giants and 49ers....attends St. Patrick's church....person he would most like to meet is Zach Galifinakas....people he admires most are his parents...hobbies include spending time with family, playing basketball, bowling and playing with his dogs....Michael is a liberal studies major with plans of becoming a special education teacher.
