As a Senior (2022) - Appeared in 17 games on the mound for the Sunbirds ... made one start ... struck out 33 batters in 32 innings ... recorded three saves  ... earned Academic All-PacWest Honors

As a Junior (2021) - Appeared 11 games on the mound for the Sunbirds … made five starts … pitched 37 innings … racked up 35 strikeouts … threw 6.2 innings against Academy of Art (3/27) … struck out seven against Simpson (2/26)...earned Academic All-PacWest Honors...

As a Junior (2020) - Appeared in and started six games for the Sunbirds … pitched 35 innings … racked up 30 strikeouts … had an earned run average of 4.11 … opponents batted .254 against … tossed eight innings against Concordia (3/07) … struck out nine and allowed just one hit against Western Oregon (2/14) … earned Academic All-PacWest Honors 

Prior to FPU - Spent four years playing at West Torrance High School, two years on varsity....while at West Torrance he was awarded Pitcher of the Year, 1st Team All League and 1st Team All CIF....started his college career at Long Beach City College.

Personal - Son to David Stearns and brother to Taylor....he chose Fresno Pacific for the great coaching staff and the beautiful campus....during his free time he enjoys fishing and playing video games....he is pursuing a career in business administration and wishes to go after a career in athletics.
