As a Junior (2019): Made seven appearances out of the Sunbird bullpen....picked up five strikeouts.

As a Sophomore (2018): Made 10 appearances on the mound for the Sunbirds, including eight starts....picked up two victories....struck out six batters in a complete game victory against Hawai'i Hilo (3/26)....fourth on the team with 20 strikeouts.

As a Freshman (2017): Started six games on the mound for the Sunbirds....went 1-1 with a 4.24 ERA and 29 strikeouts....picked up first collegiate victory after striking out eight batters over eight innings against #5 Azusa Pacific (3/11)....whiffed a season-high nine batters in win over Concordia (3/25).

Prior to FPU: A graduate of Redwood High School...played three years of varsity baseball under coach Dan Hydash...team won back-to-back Valley Championships...tossed a no-hitter against Hanford...also played basketball.

Personal: son of Ramon and Cathy Mendivil...chose FPU to stay close to home...most admires his grandfather...favorite television show is Sons of Anarchy...favorite sports team is the Green Bay Packers...majoring in criminal justice...has four siblings, Natalie, Omar, Lissette and Jennie.
