As a Junior (2014) - Started 57 games, primarily at catcher and DH, for the national champion Sunbirds....named first team NCCAA All-American....batted .294 with a team-high five homeruns....was second on the team in RBI with 38....posted a .378 on-base percentage and .416 slugging percentage....in two games against conference champ Dixie State, went 7-for-8 with three homers, four runs and four RBI (5/3).....went 4-for-4 with three RBI in regional final victory over Azusa Pacific (5/8)....hit .462 during the team's postseason run, recording a hit in every playoff game....had two doubles in World Series victory over Shorter (5/15).....named CapitalOne Academic All-District, earned PacWest Scholar-Athlete honors and was named FPU Athletics Scholar of the Year.

As a Sophomore (2013) - Appeared in 38 games for the Sunbirds, making 34 starts primarily at catcher....in 105 at-bats, hit .248 with six doubles, 14 RBI and a .328 on-base percentage....went 3-for-5 at nationally-ranked Sonoma State (2/23)....posted three multi-hit games in wins over Hawaii Hilo....went 2-for-3 with two RBI at Azusa Pacific (3/2).

As a Freshman (2012) - Appeared in 31 games, making 19 starts for the Sunbirds....finished the season 13-for-79 at the plate (.165) with a homerun and 10 RBI....went 2-for-4 with three RBI and hit his first collegiate homerun in win over Wayland Baptist (2/2)....went 1-for-3 with three RBI and a double in win over Westmont (2/23)....went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a double vs. The Master's (3/3).

Prior to FPU - Played four years of varsity baseball at Clovis West High School for Coach Kevin Patrick….a First-Team All-Fresno Bee selection, he batted .406 in his best season....also played football.

John is a Political Science major with plans of becoming a lawyer.
