As a Sophomore (2013) - Appeared in 13 games, making seven starts on the mound....posted a 4-2 record with a 3.07 ERA with 29 strikeouts in 41 innings pitched....held opponents to a .229 batting average....threw five scoreless innings of one-hit ball with five strikeouts in win over La Sierra (3/26)....went six innings giving up just two hits while striking out six in win over nationally-ranked Dixie State (4/20)....tossed six scoreless innings to earn the win over Hawaii Pacific (4/27).

Prior to FPU - Played one season of baseball at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo.....a graduate of Linden High School, playing three years of varsity baseball...named all-conference 1st-Team all three years.

Personal - Born May 27...son of Richard and Karen Lagorio...has one sister, Courtney and one brother, Michael...people he admires the most are his father and grandfather...favorite movie is ‘Bull Durham’...favorite sports team is the San Francisco Giants...person he would most like to meet is Nolan Ryan...James is a liberal studies major.
