As a Freshman (2013) - Appeared in three games for the Sunbirds....went 1-for-4 at the plate on the season....collected first collegiate hit on 3/26 in win over La Sierra.

Prior to FPU - Graduate of Sierra High School...played three years of varsity baseball under coach Curt Kuball...named team MVP three years, 1st team All-NSL twice and made the City-County All-Star Game...named C.I.F. Scholar Athlete of the Year...also played football and basketball in high school.

Personal - Born July 9, 1994...son of Jim and Barbette Dunn...has one sister, Taetum...hobbies include spending time with his family, fishing, hunting and watching college football...person he admires the most is his father...favorite sports team is the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim...favorite athlete is Mike Trout...Jake is a pre-health sciences major with plans of becoming a pediatrician or a pharmacist.
