Coverage of Emilio's Signing Day

Prior to FPU - The FPU baseball team and Emilio were connected through Team IMPACT, an organization that works to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses. Last year he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer, and is being treated at Valley Children’s Hospital. The FPU players and coaches were thrilled to bring Emilio on board as a full member of the team attending practices, team meetings, and games.

Personal - Parents are Jaime and Tracy....has two sisters and one brother: Alicia (24), Eric (21) and Ayva (14)....also has a Yorkie named Maxx....his favorite number is 46, which he wears to increase awareness of the fact that 46 children are diagnosed with cancer every day....favorite color is green....favorite foods include Pringles, Cheez-Its, cereal and ice cream....is a big fan of the show Ninja Go and the movie Avengers....also likes Spiderman and other Marvel characters....enjoys sports, playing video games, going to the movies and watching WWE wrestling, especially John Cena....favorite athlete is Michael Jordan....favorite musical artist is Michael Jackson....Emilio is in 7th grade and most recently attended Mccardle Elementary School in Fresno.
