Prior to FPU- Played four seasons at American High School, earning three varsity letters playing goalie and forward for coach Jerry Losson....Also played varsity water polo, softball and track & field....Named MVP and captain of the water polo team....Earned four-year NCS Academic Athletic Award and served as the president of Youth Alive.

Personal- Born January 28, 1991....Parents are Mark and Wendy....Has three siblings, J.D., Kristin and Deborah....People she most admires are her parents...Chose FPU for the Christian atmosphere and proximity to the Bay....Favorite foods are sushi, chocolate and shrimp....Favorite team is the San Francisco Giants....Hobbies include wakeboarding, snowboarding, rock-climbing, reading and traveling. Attends the Well & Bridges Community Church....Katie is a Liberal Studies major with an English concentration....She plans on working with children in third-world countries.
