Personal - Anthony was born in Berlin, Germany but calls Madera, CA his home...He is the son of Robert and Nancy Martinez...He has an older sister, Veronica...His favorite athletes are Derek Jeter and Roger Federer...He likes country and hip-hop music...His favorite TV show is "Two and a Half Men"...He has traveled to Mexico and Japan...Anthony is a Pre-Med Kinesiology major...His career goal is to become a sports doctor and work for a MLB team.

Prior to FPU - Anthony is a graduate of Madera High School...He played baseball for three years...He was named 1st team All-League in 2007 and 2008...He was named 2nd team All-Valley in 2008...He earned the 2007 Silver Slugger Award...He earned the "Mr. Clutch" Award in 2008...In addition to baseball, he played tennis and basketball...Anthony attended Fresno City College before transferring to FPU...His baseball coach was Ron Scott...He was named 2nd team All-League.
