As a junior (2009) - Dwight played in 46 of the Sunbirds' 60 games, including 38 starts...Of the players who had more than 15 at-bats, he led the team in batting average, swinging an impressive .368 on the season with 144 at-bats...Dwight drove in 31 runs, scored 31 runs, and hit 9 home runs...He had impressive slugging, on-base, and fielding percentages with .639, .450, and .933 respectively...Dwight also had 19 walks and 7 stolen bases...He rounded out the top 10 players in batting average for the GSAC.
