Biography

As a Junior (2019) – PacWest Track Athlete of the Year; the only female in conference history to win the award in back-to-back seasons….PacWest Track Athlete of the Week (4/23)….capped off an outstanding junior year at the NCAA DII National Championships, where she earned All-American honors after running the opening leg on FPU’s record-setting 4x400m relay squad, clocking a 54.95 split en route to a 3:41.56 finish….other highlights of her star-studded campaign included a lifetime-best 11.90 finish in the 100m dash (Pomona-Pitzer Invitational), a season best 2:14.50 mark in the 800m (Triton Invitational), and a career day at the Bryan Clay Invitational, where she clocked a lifetime best 54.22 in the 400m, a 23.83 in the 200m and a school-record-setting 46.15 in the 4x100m relay….earned a conference title at the PacWest Championships in the 400m (54.53)….in the FPU record books, she holds the title for the 200m, 4x100m and 4x400m events, while sitting at second on the 100m and 400m lists and third on the 800m list....named Academic All-PacWest.

As a Sophomore (2018) – PacWest Track Athlete of the Year….USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree….NCAA All-American (200m, 400m)….broke her own school record in the 200m (23.92) at the NCAA DII National Championships en route to earning all-American honors…..was named PacWest Most Outstanding Track Athlete of the Meet at the conference championships, where she won her 200m and 400m events while also helping the 4x100m & 4x400m relay teams bring home victories….ended the season as the school record holder in the 200m (24.10), 400m (54.38), 4x100m, 4x400m and is second in the 100m (11.96).

As a Freshman (2017) - Women’s Track Athlete of the Week (3/8 and 4/12)….capped off an outstanding freshman campaign by setting new school records in the 100m dash (12.09) and the 4x400 relay (3:48.02)….at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, set school records in the 400m dash (56.04) and the 200m dash (24.29)….during competition at the PacWest Championships, received All-Conference honors with a second-place finish in the 200m (24.27; improving on her previous school record) and a third-place finish in the 400m (56.97).

Prior to FPU - Spent four seasons on the track & field team at Sultana High School.

Personal - Daughter of Ennis and Arlene Courseault...has three siblings named Nicole, Jenai and Marquise...person she most admires is her dad...favorite athlete is Allyson Felix...Brie is a psychology major.
