As a Junior (2019) - at the PacWest Championships, earned conference honors with a third-place finish in the 4x400 relay (3:20.38)….also scored for FPU in the 400m, where he clocked a lifetime-best 48.56 to take fifth overall….set a personal record at the Warrior Last Chance Meet, going 10.75 in the 100m.

As a Sophomore (2018) – earned a conference title after running a leg of the winning 4x400m relay team (3:15.39) at the PacWest Championships….set a personal best in the 100m with a 10.75 finish at the 22nd Rossi Relays…. at the Bryan Clay Invitational, recorded a season best 49.61 in the 400m before clocking 41.47 as a member of the 4x100m relay (good for fifth overall in the FPU record books).

As a Freshman (2017) - at the PacWest Championships, earned all-conference honors with a second-place finish in the 4x400 relay (3:11.56) and a third-place finish in the 4x100 relay (42.65)….also raced to a fifth place finish in the 100m (10.98) and a sixth place finish in the 200m (21.95)….sits at eighth all-time in the FPU record books in the 200m with a mark of 21.86.

Prior to FPU - Spent four seasons on the track & field team at Central High School under head coach Gary Davis...two-time Impact Athlete honoree...also a member of the football team in high school.

Personal - Son of Lawrence and Patricia Cairo...has a brother named Reginald Brookins...enjoys eating burger and fries...his good friend Nick Wilson is on the football team at Arizona...roots for the Oakland Raiders...favorite athlete is Usain Bolt...Lawrence is a business marketing major.
