As a Redshirt Junior (2018) - Appeared in 29 games for the Sunbirds, totaling 12 steals, 24 drawn exclusions, 11 assists and five goals on the season....netted one goal, one steal, and two drawn exclusions in competition against George Washington....at the 2018 WWPA Championships, tallied one assist and two drawn exclusions in the win versus McKendree before posting one goal and two drawn exclusions in the victory over Mercyhurst.

As a Junior (2017) - Redshirt.

As a Sophomore (2016) - Appeared in all 26 games for the Sunbirds...scored four goals, grabbed eight steals and dished out one assist...led the team with two goals in an overtime loss to Whittier (1/30).

As a Freshman (2015) - Appeared in 23 games for the Sunbirds....scored three goals, dished out three assists and grabbed four steals on the season. 

Prior to FPU - Played four seasons of varsity water polo for head coach Allie Hill...named All-Region First Team in 2013 and '14, All-State First Team in '14, All-American Second Team in '13 and USAWP Academic All-American in '13...totaled 28 goals, 44 assists, 23 steals and six drawn ejections her senior season...also swam four seasons for SHS.

Personal - Parents are Ron and Heather Woodruff...has two siblings named Connor and Callie...person she most admires is her older brother...chose FPU for the small Christian environment...greatest sports thrill is winning the State title three of four years in high school...enjoys eating Chinese food...favorite book is Jane Eyre and her favorite movie is Fault in Our Stars...her best friend, Annie Eubanks, plays water polo at California Baptist...pregame ritual is to pray...enjoys listening to Dan and Shay...roots for the San Francisco Giants...favorite athlete is Brenda Villa...hobbies include water polo and going to the beach...attends the Church of Christ...Emily is a biology major with plans to become a marine biologist or a teacher.
