As a Sophomore (2019) – WWPA All-Tournament second team honoree….appeared in 14 games for the Sunbirds, making 11 starts….in 367 minutes, she totaled 82 saves with a .371 save percentage….season highlights included a career-high 13 save effort in FPU’s post-season victory over Cal State East Bay and a ten save effort, including four saves during two overtime periods, in FPU’s sudden death win over Cal State Monterey Bay.

As a Freshman (2018) - In the cage, she posted 23 complete games, totaling 794:11 minutes as the last-line defender for the Sunbirds. Racked up 175 saves on the season, good for a .371 save percentage. Also totaled 28 steals and nine points for the Blue and Orange. Season highlights included a 12-save effort in the victory against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, a nine-save showing (.600 save percentage) in the win over Concordia, and an 11-save outing against McKendree in the 2018 WWPA Championships.

Prior to FPU - Prepped at Liberty High School....also a member of the swim team all four seasons and was named the Rookie of the Year.

Personal - Daughter of Kelie and Jack Frey....has one sibling named Wade....enjoys reading The Art of Racing in the Rain....pregame ritual includes listening to Eminem....person she would most like to meet is Jason Momoa....hobbies include drawing and going on adventures....Madeline is a business management major.
