As a Junior (2016-17) - at the PCSC Championships, swam to a third-place finish in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 9:33.07, good for fourth best on the FPU record list….also competed in the 1650 free, taking second with a season-best time of 16:01.08....in dual-meet competition, took third in the 1000 free with a touch of 10:00.62.

Prior to FPU - Spent two years swimming at Pasadena City College for head coach Terry Stoddard....prior to that, attended John F. Kennedy High School.

Personal - Son of Charles and Jeannette Chiodo....has three siblings: Charlie, Tori and twin-sister Camille....his sister, Tori, played softball at Purdue University....loves to eat pizza....favorite movie is Rick and Morty....roots for the Los Angeles Dodgers and favorite athlete Clayton Kershaw....person he would most like to meet is Michael Phelps....Michael is a kinesiology major who hopes to become a swim coach.
