As a Senior (2021) - Appeared 10 games on the mound for the Sunbirds … made seven starts … pitched 32.2 innings … racked up 34 strikeouts … became the all-time strikeout leader in program history against Holy Names (4/08) …  opponents batted .258 against … threw six innings against Academy of Art  (3/06) … had eight strikeouts against Holy Names (3/18)

As a Senior (2020) - Appeared in six games for the Sunbirds … made four starts … pitched 26 innings … racked up 22 strikeouts … allowed just six walks … accumulated a record of 1-2 and had one save … posted a 1.73 earned run average … opponents hit .216 against … pitched 8 innings against Holy Names (2/21) … struck out seven against Western Oregon (2/13) … earned Academic All-PacWest Honors …

As a Junior (2019) - Started 12 game son the mound for the Sunbirds....tied for the team lead in wins....led the team with 80 strikeouts in 85.1 innings of work....posted a 3.59 earned run average while holding opponents to a .239 batting average....tossed two of FPU's four complete games....struck out a career-high 12 batters in win over Holy Names (4/12)....named PacWest Pitcher of the Week (5/13)....All-PacWest Second Team selection.

As a Sophomore (2018) - Started 12 games on the mound for the Sunbirds....tied for team lead in wins....racked up 66 strikeouts in 81.1 innings of work....tossed a complete game in a 9-4 win over Hawai'i Pacific (3/31).

As a Freshman (2017) - Appeared in 12 games with eight starts on the mound....recorded 20 strikeouts in 53.0 innings....earned first collegiate victory after a scoreless inning of relief against Azusa Pacific (3/10)....tossed first complete game in 5-1 victory over Hawai'i Hilo (4/10)....struck out a season-high five batters in win over Holy Names (4/29)....finished as team leader in wins.

Prior to FPU - A graduate of Pacific Grove High School...played three years of varsity baseball under coach Gil Ruiz...named the 2015 MTAL Pitcher of the Year. 

Personal - son of Bret and Michelle Boatman....most admires his father and grandfathers....favorite television show is The Office....favorite sports team is the San Francisco Giants....would most like to meet Will Smith....majoring in kinesiology with plans to teach high school science and coach....has one brother, Daniel.
