As a Sophomore in 2015-16 - Appeared in 24 games for the Sunbirds....averaged 12.3 minutes, 5.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game....finished the season with a .687 field-goal percentage....had 10 points against Humboldt State....totaled 12 points and six rebounds in a win over Life Pacific....amassed 11 points and pulled down five rebounds against Notre Dame de Namur....had back-to-back 13 point games against Notre Dame de Namur and Dixie State.

As a Freshman in 2014-15 - PacWest Freshman of the Week (11/24)....Played in 26 games for the Sunbirds and averaged 13.1 minutes, 3.9 points and 2.3 rebounds per game....scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds in a game against St. Martin's....collected a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds in a win over UC Merced....scored 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting against BYU-Hawaii.

Prior to FPU - Played two years of varsity basketball at Liberty Christian High School in Redding, Calif. for head coach Todd Franklin...averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game...scored a season-high 40 points in a state semifinal victory.

Personal - Son of Claudia and Thomas Herting...has one sibling Sven Herting...person he most admires is his father...enjoys eating Turkish kebap...favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother...listens to Eminem...roots for the Miami Heat and Dwayne Wade...hobbies include camping, exploring in nature and swimming...Oliver is a business management major with plans to work for BMW or Mercedes in international business.
