Biography
As a Junior (2016-17) - CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large third-team….National Swimmer of the Week – CollegeSwimming.com (11/15)….PCSC Athlete of the Week (10/25 and 12/7)….PCSC Swimmer of the Week – CollegeSwimming.com (1/25)….four-time All-American at the 2017 Division II NCAA Champioinships…. was the runner-up in the 200 breaststroke (154.28) and the 100 breast (52.74), which is the highest ever finish in school history….also took third in the 400 medley relay (3:12.30) and seventh in the 200 medley relay (1:28.07)….set FPU program records in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay during the 2017 season….FPU Student-Athlete of the Month (December).
As a Sophomore (2015-16) - CSCAA Scholar All-American....earned All-American honors after finishing third in the 100 breaststroke and third in the 200 breaststroke (with a school-record beating time of 1:54.37) at the NCAA Championships (3/12)....earned All-American honors after swimming to a sixth-place finish in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:16.05....at the PCSC Championships he defended his title in the 100 breaststroke with a winning time of 52.78, which set a new school and conference record (2/15).
As a Freshman (2014-15) - CSCAA Scholar All-American....at the PCSC Championships, won individual conference titles in the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke in record-setting fashion, setting new school and meet records with times of 53.78 and 1:56.62, respectively (2/20)....also won PCSC Championship titles in the 200 medley relay (1:29.42) and the 400 medley relay (3:17.97)....contributed significantly to FPU's upset of #20 CBU with wins in the 100 breaststroke (56.05) and the 200 breast (2:01.48) (1/31).
