Biography
Personal - Brittany's parents are Beverly and Richard Pierce...She has three older brothers...Her home church is Northpark Community Church...She is a Liberal Studies major, and plans to pursue a career as a teacher and coach.
Prior to FPU - Brittany played for Richard Lake, a former FPU assistant coach, at Clovis High School...She was a key contributor in the Cougars' run of three consecutive Tri-River Athletic Conference championships (2002-04)...She earned All-TRAC honors three times (2002-04)...She was named the 2004 TRAC and Fresno Bee Player of the Year as a senior.
As a freshman (2005) - Brittany stepped into a starting outside hitter role and hit .302 while averaging 3.43 kills, 2.51 digs and 0.30 aces per game.
As a sophomore (2006) - Brittany appeared in 109 games and registered 404 kills...She hit .295 while averaging 3.71 kills per game...She was second on the team with 3.28 digs per game and also served 40 aces.
As a junior (2007) - She appeared in 90 games over 28 matches...She accumulated 281 kills, 27 assists, 12 service aces, 231 digs, and contributed 30 blocks.
