As a Senior (2016) - Academic All-PacWest.

As a Junior (2015) - Appeared in 14 games, making eight starts in the outfield for the national champion Sunbirds....collected four hits, two RBI and two walks on the year....went 1-for-3 with an RBI in win over Academy of Art (4/11)....PacWest Scholar-Athlete.

Prior to FPU - Played two seasons at College of the Sequoias for coach Jody Allen....was a key member of COS' 2014 CVC championship team that reached the State final four....played outfield and pitched....hit .362 with a .464 OBP and .468 SLG as a sophomore....prepped at El Diamante under coach Bert Flores....played four years of baseball, including three on varsity....as a senior was 1st-team All-WYL and 1st-team All-Tulare County as well as team MVP....also played basketball.

Personal - Son of David and Sandra Vartanian....has one brother, Dustin....his cousin, Amy Gavroian played soccer at FPU....favorite movie is The Sandlot....favorite artist is Taylor Swift....favorite team is the San Francisco Giants....Davy is a business major with plans to play professionally or work in pro sports.
