As a Junior (2015-16) - Appeared in 26 games, making 13 starts for the Sunbirds….led the team in assists with 86 (3.3 per game)….totaled 155 points, 63 rebounds and 24 steals on the season….recorded season-high 14 points and seven assists in the win vs. Hawaii Hilo (2/4)….scored 13 points, dished out three assists and grabbed three rebounds in the upset victory over Azusa Pacific (1/30)….tallied 11 points, five assists, and two rebounds in the win over Stanislaus State (11/28).

Prior to FPU - Spent two seasons at San Jose City College under head coach Percy Carr....named All-South Bay Conference Honorable Mention....averaged 4.4 points per game and 4.5 assists per game, with a best game performance of 16 points and 11 assists against Merced....led the team to a 26-4 record during his sophomore year....prepped at Edison High School and was a member of the varsity team all four seasons under head coach T.J. Wilkins....averaged 11.3 points per game and 6.2 assists per game, with a best game performance of 23 points and eight assists against section rival Bullard High School....three-time Team MVP, three-time CMAC All-League, 2013 All-Valley First Team and 2013 All-State nominee....also competed in track & field and football for the Tigers.

Personal - Son of Tyrone and Evelyn Viney....has two siblings named Kahliah and Courtney....his brother Courtney played cornerback for the UCLA football team....chose FPU because of the great atmosphere and coaching staff....person he most admires is his father....enjoys eating fried chicken and mac & cheese....favorite book is "Salt in My Shoes"....enjoys watching He Got Game....his good friend Josue Sallam plays for Bethune-Cookman University....spends time in prayer as a pregame ritual....roots for the Oakland Raiders....favorite athlete is Nate Robinson....person he would most like to meet is Tupac Shakur....attends Saint's Rest Baptist Church....T.J. is a communication major with plans of becoming a multimedia creator for a professional sports team.
