As a Junior (2016) - Started 16 games for the Sunbirds....took a team-high 22 shots on goal....scored a goal against Cal State San Marcos (9/17).

As a Sophomore (2015) - All PacWest Third Team....Appeared in 14 games, making 13 starts for the Sunbirds....provided a spark for the Sunbird offense, and led the team with 14 points on four goals and team-high six assists....scored two goals in the 3-0 win over Dominican (10/7)....contributed to all four goals (one goal, three assists) in the shutout-win vs. Notre Dame de Namur....netted the lone goal in FPU's 1-1 tie with Cal Baptist (10/24)....recorded an assist in games against Cal State East Bay (9/3), Hawaii Hilo (9/28) and Azusa Pacific (10/17).

As a Freshman (2014) - Played in 13 games, making two starts.....took 10 shots, including four shots on goal.

Prior to FPU - Spent four years on the varsity team at Central High School under coach Brandon Kwock....named Fresno Bee Offensive Player of the Year as a senior....scored 66 career goals in a three-year span, including 27 as a junior....also added 28 assists....named first team All-TRAC....top moment was scoring the winning goal on the road at Buchanan to win a share of the TRAC championship.

Personal - Daughter of Mark and Juanita Montoya....has two siblings, Mark and Monique....chose FPU for its small school atmosphere and great community....the people she admires most in life are her mom and dad....favorite food is tacos....favorite musical artist is Beyonce....favorite athlete is Lionel Messi....favorite sports team is FC Barcelona....Mariah is a business administration major with plans of going into advertising and promotions.
