As a Senior (2016) - Academic All-PacWest.

As a Junior (2015) - Started 53 games in the outfield for the national champion Sunbirds....earned 2nd-team All-PacWest, 2nd-team ABCA and NCBWA All-West Region....NCCAA All-American and NCCAA West Region Player of the Year honors....He led the team in nearly every offensive category including a .350 batting average....recorded a .419 OBP and .591 slugging percentage with 29 extra-base hits, seven homers, eight stolen bases and 51 RBI....set the school single-season record for triples with six....went 5-for-9 with three RBI and a homer in two-game stretch vs. Azusa Pacific....went 4-for-10 with eight RBI and two homers in three games vs. Academy of Art.....went 4-for-5 with five RBI and a homer in playoff win over Bethesda.....PacWest Scholar-Athlete.

Prior to FPU - Played one season at Fresno City College earning team MVP and first-team All-CVC honors while leading the league in homeruns and RBI....started at third base for FCC....prepped at Hanford High School playing four years of varsity while playing for his father, head coach Tim Scott....led the team to back-to-back Valley championships....as a junior hit .479 with seven homeruns and 32 RBI....hit .441 as a senior....numerous accolades included league MVP, first-team All-Fresno Bee, multiple first-team all-league selections, offensive and defensive team MVP awards, and many more....also played basketball and earned defensive MVP honors.

Personal - Parents are Tim and Niki Scott....has two older sisters, Ashlie and Tagen....his father Tim played major league baseball for seven seasons, primarily with the San Diego Padres and Montreal Expos....chose FPU because of his faith and for the great coaching staff and teammates....person he most admires is his father....favorite food is pasta...favorite movie is Rocky IV....favorite show is Criminal Minds....favorite book is The Bible....favorite artist is Lecrae....favorite sports teams are the Lakers, Angels, Dodgers and Cowboys....favorite athlete, other than his father, is Russell Wilson....would like to meet Derek Jeter....friends on other college teams include Grant Verhoeven (Stanford basketball) and Gio Brusa (Pacific baseball)....Preston is a psychology major with hopes of playing baseball professionally.
