As a Senior (2014) - Started 55 games in right field for the national champion Sunbirds....named first team ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-West Region, NCAA Division II NCBWA All-West Region, All-PacWest and NCCAA All-West Region....led the PacWest with a .473 on-base percentage and was second in the league in batting average, hitting a team-high .388....totaled 73 hits, 38 runs scored, 12 doubles and 30 RBI, with a team-high 31 walks....finished second on the team with 13 stolen bases....went 5-for-6 in two games vs. eventual NCAA D2 World Series qualifier Chico State (2/1)....went 5-for-5 with a home run at Azusa Pacific (3/13)....went 9-for-14 with seven RBI in series vs. Point Loma (4/11-12)....hit .407 (11-for-27) with seven runs and four RBI during the team's 8-0 postseason run....went 2-for-4 with a double in World Series title game vs. Lee....finished his career with a program record .468 career on-base percentage.

As a Junior (2013) - Appeared in 48 games for the Sunbirds, making 42 starts in the outfield and earning All-PacWest honors....in 132 at-bats, batted .326 with six doubles, 19 RBI, 33 runs scored and a team-high .461 on-base percentage, 28 walks and 13 stolen bases....had 13 multi-hit games....homered against nationally-ranked Dixie State (4/19), then went 4-for-4 against DSU the next day....went 5-for-6 with four RBI in two wins over La Sierra (3/26)....in a three-game series with nationally-ranked Cal State LA, went 4-for-9 with four stolen bases....went 2-for-4 with four runs scored in win at Holy Names (5/2).

Prior to FPU - Played two years of baseball at Fresno State....a graduate of St. Francis Central Coast High School...played three years of varsity baseball under coach Curtis Gomez...also played football, basketball and soccer in high school.

Personal - Born August 19...son of Warren and Yvonne Gaspar...has two brothers, Warren and Keoni...hobbies include playing golf, bowling and playing video games...chose FPU for the baseball program...the people he admires the most are his brother Warren and his father Warren Sr....favorite food is spam and rice...favorite TV show is ‘Glee’...favorite book is ‘Moneyball’...best friend on another team is Austin Wynns of Fresno State...favorite musical artist is Lil’ Wayne and Kirko Bangz...favorite sports team is the New York Yankees...favorite athlete is LeBron James...the person he would most like to meet is Martin Luther King Jr....Kaohu is a business management major.
