Prior to FPU - Attended Reedley College for two years, playing under coach Steve Pearse...named 2nd Team All-CVC and Scholar Athlete in 2011 and 2012....A graduate of Clovis West High School...played two years of varsity baseball for coach Kevin Patrick....also played two years of varsity basketball in high school.

Personal - Born June 16, 1991...son of Joe De La Torre...has two brothers named Nick and Joey...favorite food is ‘Petrillos Pizza’...favorite musical artist is the Zac Brown Band...favorite sports team is the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim...favorite athlete is Mike Trout...hobbies include watching movies, listening to music, playing golf and shopping...Chris is a communications major with plans of working for either ESPN or MLB Network.
