As a Junior (2012-13) - Led the nation in scoring at the NCAA Division II level (27.5 ppg) while leading the Sunbirds to 21 wins in their first season of NCAA Division II and Pacific West Conference play....named First Team All-American and All-Pacific West Conference....set school single-season records in points per game (27.5), points scored (825), field goals made (263) and free-throws made (216)....scored school record 50 points vs. Roberts Wesleyan (3/13), which also set a new Pacific West Conference mark....scored 25 or more points in 17 different games on the year....scored 44 points vs. Academy of Art (2/16)...scored 41 and had eight rebounds vs. Notre Dame de Namur (2/23)....scored 39 points and had six assists and five steals in West Region championship win over Azusa Pacific (3/6)...scored 37 points in win over BYU-Hawaii (1/21) and again vs. Cedarville (3/16)....scored 36 points vs. league champion Dixie State (2/5)....led FPU to a second-place finish in its first season in the 14-team NCAA D2 Pacific West Conference....named PacWest Newcomer of the Year.

Prior to FPU - Played at Mott Community College in Michigan for coach Steve Schmidt....earned National Division II Junior College Player of the Year honors while averaging 24.9 points per game and leading his team to a 35-1 record and the JUCO national title....scored 40 or more points on three occasions last season: 40 points vs. Jackson CC (11/11), 40 points vs. Lansing CC (State Title Game, 3/3/12), 41 points vs. Oakland CC (3/10/12)....ranked seventh in the nation in scoring last season and also averaged 4.2 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game....after the season he led all scorers with 26 points at the National JUCO All-Star Game in Las Vegas....prepped at North Lawndale High School in Chicago, leading the team to the Illinois 2A state title in 2008 and the Chicago City League Championship in 2009....a two-time First Team All-State selection and was the #6-ranked overall prospect in the state of Illinois coming out of high school (chicagohoops.com).
