As a Junior (2012) - Played in all 23 matches for the NCCAA West Region Champion Sunbirds including 15 starts in the midfield....registered two goals and two assists on the season....recorded a goal and an assist in a 6-2 win over BYU-Hawaii (9/24), also scored in a 4-2 win over Holy Names (10/27).

As a Sophomore (2011) - Played in all 18 games, making 17 starts in the midfield for the GSAC champion Sunbirds....recorded an assist in 5-2 win over Menlo (9/10)....took 15 shots, six of which were on goal.

As a Freshman (2010)- Stepped in right away and earned a starting spot in the midfield....started all 18 games for the Sunbirds....took seven shots and one shot on goal....notched his first collegiate assist during a 4-1 win over Westmont (10/13).

Prior to FPU- Played three years of varsity soccer at Monache High School, playing midfield....Named Team MVP as a senior....Led the team in goals and was named to the area All-Star game....Spent time playing with Mexico's under-17 national team and Chivas....Also played at South Valley Chivas Academy.

Personal- Born June 28, 1992....Parents are Esmaldo and Miriam Hernandez....Has a younger sister Amber, who played on Mexico's under-17 national team....Favorite team is Barcelona....Favorite athlete is Cesc Fabregas....Attends Holy Cross church....Alexis is undeclared.
