As a Junior (2011) - Appeared in 39 games as an outfielder/pinch-runner, making nine starts for the Sunbirds....batted .235 in 34 at-bats with 13 runs scored and 11 stolen bases....scored 2 runs and stole 2 bases at Cal State Monterey Bay (2/12)....went 2-for-4 with 2 steals in win at The Master's (3/12)....stole three bases and scored three runs during the NAIA Opening Round.

As a Sophomore (2010)- Played in 21 games, making eight starts in outfield for the Sunbirds....in 38 at-bats, hit .263 with two home runs, seven runs scored and seven RBI....finished with a .378 on-base percentage and a perfect fielding percentage....went 2-for-2 with three RBI and a homer in win vs. San Diego Christian (4/29).

As a Freshman (2009) - Blaine played in 13 of the Sunbirds' 60 games, including 1 start...He had 13 at-bats during the course of the season.

Prior to FPU- Played at Golden West High School in Visalia for coach coach Bob Vevissimo, earning two year varsity letters.

Personal- Born August 17, 1989...parents are Jeff and Anne Taylor...has three siblings...Brother, Jeff, played baseball for Fresno Pacific...Chose FPU for the baseball program and to get an excellent education...favorite meal is seared ahi tuna with mashed potatoes and fresh veggies...favorite movie is Avatar...favorite band is Muse...favorite sports team is the New York Yankees...favorite athlete is Alex Rodriguez...person he would most like to meet is Gandhi...Hobbies include snowboarding and playing ping-pong...Blaine is a Pre-Health major...aspires to be a pediatrician.
