2014 - Medical Redshirt

As a Junior (2013) - Played in 48 games, making 46 starts in the outfield for the Sunbirds....in 154 at-bats, hit .260 with a .349 on-base percentage and six doubles, two triples, two homers, 18 RBI, 31 runs scored and seven stolen bases....hit two homeruns and scored four runs in win over Hawaii Pacific (4/26)....went 3-for-6 with two RBI at Azusa Pacific (3/2)....went 3-for-5 in win at nationally-ranked Cal State LA (3/23)....went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI in win over nationally-ranked Grand Canyon (4/6)....went 3-for-4 in win over nationally-ranked Dixie State (4/20).

As a Sophomore (2012) - Played in 47 games, making 41 starts as the team's centerfielder....finished the year with a .247 batting average, three homeruns, 21 RBI and a .306 on-base percentage....also pitched 1 1/3 innings, striking out three and giving up one run....hit a three-run homer and earned the save in win over NAIA power Lewis-Clark State (2/4)....went 3-for-5 with two RBI, two runs and a homerun in win over San Francisco State (2/11)....that same day homered in the second game of the doubleheader as well in an FPU win....scored three runs in win over Vanguard (3/16).

As a Freshman (2011) - Appeared in 19 games as an outfielder/pinch-hitter and 12 games as a relief pitcher....made six starts in the outfield....batted .243 in 37 at-bats with 7 runs scored and 4 RBI....on the mound threw 14 innings and posted a 4.50 ERA, striking out 10 batters and holding opponents to a .204 average....recorded first multi-hit game of his career going 2-for-2 in win vs. The Master's (3/9)....struck out three in 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief in win over #10 British Columbia (2/10).

Prior to FPU- Attended Buchanan High School, playing outfield and pitcher for coach Tom Donald.....in three seasons, earned three varsity letters, all-conference honors and was a North-South All-Star.....played on a valley championship team his senior year.

Personal- Born October 4....parents are Mike and Karen....has a brother, Jared....chose FPU for its good education and coaching....favorite foods are chow mein and orange chicken....favorite show is Sportscenter.....favorite team is the San Francisco Giants.....hobbies include watching TV and outdoor activities....Steven is a Kinesiology major.
