As a Junior (2013) - Pitched in 10 games out of the bullpen for the Sunbirds....had six innings pitched with a 3.00 ERA while holding opponents to a .111 batting average....tossed scoreless innings against three nationally ranked teams: Cal State LA, Grand Canyon and Dixie State.

As a Sophomore (2012) - Appeared in 14 games on the mound for the Sunbirds....posted a 1-2 record and 9.92 ERA in 16 1/3 innings pitched....struck out seven....walked just four batters on the season....tossed three strong innings out of the bullpen to earn the win vs. San Francisco State (2/11).

As a Freshman (2011) - Appeared in 9 games out of the bullpen for the Sunbirds, posting a 1.80 ERA in 10 innings pitched while striking out 11 batters....struck out 4 in two scoreless innings vs. Menlo (3/8)....tossed two scoreless innings in win against nationally-ranked British Columbia (2/10).

Prior to FPU- Played two years of varsity baseball for coach Craig Doluz at Saint Augustine High School in San Diego...received the Coach's Award....also played football.

Personal- Born March 23...Parents are Ed and Laura Kirkpatrick...Has a brother, Alex, and a sister, Angelina...favorite food is lasagna...favorite sports teams are the San Diego Padres and the San Diego Chargers...favorite athlete is Vladimir Guerrero...Hobbies include going to the beach with friends, riding dirt bikes and snowboarding...Aaron is a Psychology major with plans of going into counseling.
