Prior to FPU- Played two seasons at Fresno City College at goalie....spent three years on the varsity team at Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia, winning team MVP in her junior and senior seasons....also led the team to the Tulare Tournament championship, earning All-Tournament honors....was the team's most improved player as a sophomore.....also competed in swimming all four years of high school.

Personal- Born September 30, 1989....parents are Bill and Angie.....hs two sibling, Renelle and Jon....chose FPU because of the welcoming atmosphere and her teammates.....favorite sports team is the San Francisco Giants....best friend on another water polo team is Haley Freselli of Humboldt State.....attends church at "Awaken".....Charissa is an Environmental Science major and plans to one day operate her own wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center.
