Biography
Prior to FPU- Spent his junior season at NCAA Division I CSU Bakersfield, playing in 17 games for the Roadrunners....played two seasons at Fresno City College for coach Ed Madec, averaging 13.8 points and nine rebounds per game while earning All–Central Valley Conference and CVC Defensive Player of the Year honors....in his first season at Fresno City he helped lead the team to a 33-1 record and a state title....the Rams had a 63-9 with DeLeon on the team.....also was a jumper on the Rams' track & field team....prepped at Washington High School in New York.
Personal- A native of the Dominican Republic, his given first name is "Yergis".....his brother Adris (also known as "2 Hard 2 Guard") played basketball at Eastern Washington and went on to become the Nike Streetball Player of the Year in 2009....George is a Kinesiology major.
