As a Junior: Earned All-GSAC and Honorable Mention All-American honors after posting a team-best 21-3 singles record, primarily at the #4 spot.....also went 21-3 in doubles play, including 16-1 at the #2 spot with Cristina Valladeres.

Prior to FPU - Played at Reedley College for coach Jeff McFall....earned team MVP and was named one of the school's athletes of the year, as well as receiving the academic award of student-athlete of the year....was ranked #4 nationally in 2010....won the California state doubles championship and reached the finals in both the singles and doubles of the Ojai Tournament....attended the High School of Grand Noumea in New Caledonia....won the New South Wales championship in Sydney in 2004.

Personal - Born January 7, 1990....parents are Jean-Pierre and Martine....chose FPU because of the school, tennis program and good coaching....the people she admires most are her parents....favorite food is Raclette....favorite TV shows are Revenge and Desperate Housewives....enjoys listening to Beyonce and Rihanna....favorite athletes are Justine Henin and Roger Federer....person she would most like to meet is NBA player Kris Humphries....hobbies include shopping, riding bikes and dancing....Yumiko is a sociology major with plans of getting her master's in criminology.
