As a Junior (2010) - Played in all 37 matches and all 120 sets for the national champion Sunbirds....Named 1st team NAIA All-American and GSAC Player of the Year....Earned NAIA Tournament MVP honors for the second year in a row....Named to the All-GSAC team and was GSAC player of the week twice....Led the Sunbirds with 544 kills and 4.44 kills per set....also tallied 297 digs, 55 blocks, a .358 attack percentage and a team-high 57 service aces....Had 23 kills, 9 digs and a .415 hitting percentage in the national championship match vs. Columbia (12/4)....recorded 20 kills and 12 digs earlier that day in the national semifinal win over Texas-Brownsville....finished with 17 kills and a season-high 16 digs in first-round tournament win over Taylor (12/2)....had a season-high 25 kills vs. Texas-Brownsville (10/29)....Had 11 games on the season with double figures in both kills and digs.

As a Sophomore (2009) - Played in all 38 matches in her first season with the team....Led the Sunbirds with 444 kills (3.52 per set)....Named 1st Team All-American and All-GSAC....Had 76 kills during the national tournament and was named tournament MVP....Her best performances came against top competition as she recorded a season-high 26 kills in win at Cal Baptist (11/7) and had 25 kills in win at Concordia (9/26)....Set a school record (sideout scoring) with 10 aces against Cornerstone (8/29) and finished the season with a GSAC-leading 71 service aces....Also had 283 digs and 57 blocks, including 20 digs against Biola (9/15)....Finished the season with a .296 hitting percentage.

Prior to FPU - Martina attended Sportoue Gymnazium in Nitra, Slovakia...She transfered to FPU from Mississippi State University, where she played volleyball for one year...She was named Freshman of the Year there.

Personal - Martina is from Nitra, Slovakia...Her parents are Martin and Elena...She has an older sister...Her favorite food is pasta...Her favorite book is "Twilight"...Her favorite TV show is "Friends"...She enjoys listening to Beyonce...She is fluent in Slovak...Her hobbies include all sports and traveling....Martina is a Kinesiology major with a minor in business.
