As a Junior (2011) - One of the most dominant pitchers at the NAIA level....went 7-1 with a 2.44 ERA in 13 starts and 88 2/3 innings pitched....broke the school record with 101 strikeouts....tossed a two-hit shutout on the road against GSAC champ and NAIA #3 Cal Baptist, striking out 12 (3/16/11).....had a season-high 13 strikeouts against The Master's (3/9/11)....struck out three batters in three innings of exhibition vs. Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies, including San Francisco Giants' prospects Connor Gillaspie and Darren Ford....Kept the Sunbirds' season alive in an elimination playoff game vs. Texas-Brownsville, throwing a complete-game with one earned run, 11 strikeouts and no walks to earn the win.

Prior to FPU- Pitched two years at NCAA Division 1 Sacramento State....A Louisville Slugger and Collegiate Baseball NCAA Freshman All-American...2nd Team All-WAC...Named to the preseason First Team All-WAC team....Had 59 strikeouts in 83 innings his freshman year with a 5.64 ERA...pitched a complete game against a ranked UC Irvine team, defeating All-American Daniel Bibona 2-1....Prepped at Fowler High School for coach Bill Fever ...named 1st Team All-Valley by the Fresno Bee...named 1st Team All-State by Cal-High Sports...Recorded 18 strikeouts against Coast Union High School...Struck out 123 batters in 88 innings pitched, posting a 1.51 ERA...As a hitter, batted .485 with six home runs and 38 RBI.
