As a Junior (2009) - David played in 37 of the Sunbirds' 60 games, including 3 starts...He appeared only 20 times at the plate, but hit .300 on the season...David scored 12 runs and stole 3 bases...He had a .364 on-base percentage and appeared in the second most games as a substitute for the Sunbirds, often coming in as a pinch runner.

Prior to FPU- Played two seasons at West Hills College for coach Archie Hodsdon...earned the Coach's Award and 2nd team All-League honors...named to the Academic All-American team...Prepped at Clovis East High School, earning three varsity letters...Received the Gold Glove and MVP award on his team...named First Team All-League and First Team All-TRAC....also competed in wrestling.
