Biography

As a Junior (2012) - Appeared in three games out of the bullpen....pitched two innings, giving up five runs and striking out two....tossed a scoreless inning in win over Point Loma (2/2).

As a Sophomore (2011) - Made two appearances out of the bullpen, throwing one inning, giving up one hit, no runs, and striking out three.

Prior to FPU - Daniel is a graduate of Sanger High School...He played baseball all four years for coach Dan Wild...He was named 1st Team All-League and Best Pitcher...Pitched a no-hitter and recorded 18 strikeouts vs. Hoover High School....also played football....He also earned the Student-Athlete Award.

Personal - Born December 29, 1990....Daniel was born in Clovis and calls Sanger home...He is the son of James and Sylvia Neves...has a younger brother, Justus...favorite food is sushi....favorite athlete is Travis Ishikawa...favorite movie is "For Love of the Game"...has traveled to Mexico...enjoys listening to music...home church is St. Mary's...Daniel is a Business Administration major with plans of one day working for a prestigious company.
