As a Junior (2010)- A major contributor out of the bullpen in his first season with the team, Lovero appeared in 18 games throwing 29 2/3 innings....struck out 30 batters and walked 14....gave up just one home run....finished 0-2 with a 6.67 ERA....threw exceptionally well against conference champion Cal Baptist, in two outings against the Lancers had 9 IP, 2 earned runs and 10 strikeouts....tossed five scoreless innings and struck out five out of the bullpen in the GSAC championship game vs. CBU (5/13).

Prior to FPU- Spent two seasons at College of the Sequoias, earning pitcher of the year honors and posting a 2.20 ERA....Played at Golden West High School in Visalia  as a pitcher/shortstop for four years, including three on varsity....earned team MVP, 1st-team all-conference, and All-American honors....also played football and competed in rodeo.

Personal- Born August 1, 1989....parents are Denny and Julie...has one sister, Miranda....originally chose Fresno Pacific because of its great academic programs and baseball team....person he most admires is his father.....favorite TV show is Professional Bull Riders....Rodeo is one of his main hobbies.....likes country music and the San Francisco Giants....Kyle is a Business Management major with plans of starting his own company.
