As a Junior (2010)- One of the team's major contributors out of the bullpen, Jimenez tossed 22 1/3 innings and had the lowest ERA among relievers at 4.84.....in 18 appearances he struck out 20 and walked only 8....threw 2 1/3 scoreless innings to earn the win vs. Azusa Pacific (4/7).

Prior to FPU - Michael is a graduate of Reedley High School...His baseball coach was Kevin Patrick...He was named 1st Team All-League in his junior year, and 2nd Team All-League in his senior year...He was named Rookie of the Year as a junior...He was a City County participant in his senior year...Michael attended Reedley College before transferring to FPU...His baseball coach was Jack Hacker...He was named Sophomore Pitcher of the Year and Team MVP in 2008...earned Scholar Athlete honors in 2007.

Personal - Born December 7, 1987...Michael was born in Selma and calls Reedley home...parents are Edward and Debbie Jimenez...has three sisters and two brothers...Two of his sisters, Angela and Megan, played softball for Reedley College...likes Mexican and Italian food...favorite TV show is "Baseball Tonight"...favorite movie is "Bull Durham"...home church is St. Anthony's Parish...Michael is a Kinesiology major with a Coaching minor...His career goal is to coach at the high school and junior college level.
