As a Junior (2010)- Appeared in 16 games for the Sunbirds, going 3-for-13 at the plate (.231) with a double, an RBI and three runs scored....drew two walks and scored twice in win vs. Bethany (2/12)....delivered an RBI single in NAIA Regional win over Ohio Dominican (5/19).

Prior to FPU - Ryan attended West Hills Community College before transferring to FPU...He played baseball there for two years under coach Paul Hodsdon.....Ryan is a graduate of Caruthers High School...He played varsity baseball all four years under coach Orin Hirschkorn...His team was Valley Champion in 2005....named 1st Team All-League for 3 years...named Academic All-League and Honor Roll all four years...also played football and basketball.

Personal - Born January 13, 1998 in Fresno but calls Caruthers his home...His parents are Mario and Stacey Acevedo...Greatest sports thrill was pitching and winning the Valley Championship in 2005...His favorite team is the Los Angeles Dodgers...favorite foods are pizza and pasta...favorite TV show is Seinfield...has traveled to Europe...hobbies include being active, playing sports and hanging out with friends...Ryan is an Exercise Science major with plans to continue on to graduate school and work in the health field.
