Five Track & Field Athletes Selected to CSC Academic All-District Honors

FRESNO, Calif.- The Fresno Pacific Sunbirds had five student-athletes named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's and Men's Track & Field team, the organization announced Tuesday.

To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have competed in four matches.

Three Sunbird men were selected; Forest Grey, Bo Olsen, and Dejan Mileusnic.

Grey earned a 3.73 GPA in Business Administration Marketing and qualified for honors after finishing the season ranked 6th in the west region and 32nd in the national rankings in javelin where he threw a 63.78m mark.  Also in Business Administration, Bo Olsen earned a 3.50 GPA after a record breaking season becoming the Fresno Pacific school record holder in the 800m ranked 2nd in the west region, 16th in the national rankings, and finished 22nd at the DII National Championships. Leading the way for Sunbirds on the men's side is All-American Dejan Mileusnic. Mileusnic earned a 3.74 GPA in Kinesology. The senior is the Fresno Pacific school record holder in the javelin, ranking 2nd in the west region, 4th in the national rankings, and finished 6th at the DII National Championships. Mileusnic was also selected for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot to be voted on by CSC members.

On the women's side, the sprinting duo of Ariana Vera and Brianna Green earned the honors. Vera earned a perfect 4.0 in her Single Subject Teaching Credential. This season, Vera was ranked 7th in the west regional rankings in the 400m and 39th in the nation. Vera was also apart of the 4x400 relay team who was ranked first in the west region ranking and first in the national rankings. The team finished third at the DII National Championships. Adding to her growing list of honors, this year Green earned a 3.813 in her master's in School Psychology, PPS School Psychology. This season, Green ranked in the top 15 nationally in five events, culminating in two national championships, one in the 400m hurdles and the 4x100 relay team where she helped the team break the DII record holding time at 43.85. Like Mileusnic, Green was also selected for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot to be voted on by CSC members.

NCAA and NAIA Men's and Women's Track & Field Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on July 16th.
