FRESNO, Calif.- The Fresno Pacific Sunbirds had ten student-athletes named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's and Men's At-Large Teams, the organization announced Tuesday.
To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have competed in four matches.
Honored for the women were
Alli Hepner,
Maddie Murad,
Sierra Coyne,
Maggie Cook,
Emma Cook, and
Tatum Benson.
Hepner earned a with a 3.90 GPA as a major in History. Fresno Pacific Athletic's Female Scholar Athlete of the Year, Murad posted a 4.0 in Nursing. Sisters, M. Cook & E. Cook had a 3.9 GPA and a 3.8 GPA with majors in Mathematics and Nursing respectively.
Leading the team in and out of the pool was Benson, who earned a perfect 4.0 GPA while earning her master's in Business administration. Benson was also selected for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot to be voted on by CSC members.
On the men's side
Christian Clark,
Forrest Gray,
Blake Johnson, and
Nikita Kravtsov were honored.
Clark earned a 3.78 GPA and Kravtsov with a team leading, 3.87 GPA, while both majoring in Nursing. Majoring in Business Administration-Marketing, Gray earned an impressive 3.73 GPA. Rounding out the group was Johnson who earned a 3.53 while majoring in Kinesiology-Exercise Physiology.
NCAA and NAIA Women's and Men's At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 8.
