Fresno Pacific Battles to a Draw Against Cal State San Bernardino

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno Pacific battled to a 0-0 draw against Cal State San Bernardino on Monday night at Ramirez Field.

Both teams battled for possession in the first half, each recording five shots. 

Fresno Pacific's best chance to take the lead in the second half came in the 83rd minute on a cross from Mackenzie Madron which Maria Eir Magnusdottir shot but the Yotes goalkeeper made the save. 
 
The Sunbirds controlled possession in the second half, totaling five shots to the Yotes' four. 

Mackenzie Madron led the Sunbirds with four shots. Monique Nevarez recorded a season-high four saves and tallied her first shutout of the year.

Fresno Pacific will open PacWest conference play against Menlo College Wednesday in Atherton at 4pm.
