FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Pacific women's water polo team played their second home game of the season, as they hosted Cal State East Bay at Clovis High School on Saturday. The Sunbirds battled on both ends of the pool but fell short to the Pioneers 16-6.
QUOTABLE
"It was a tough game, and we were not the best versions of ourselves as we could have been. We had some moments where our energy ignited, and we did some good things. In the third, we started strong netting three unanswered goals. In the end, we didn't have the necessary drive we needed to be successful. I know what we're capable of and know these girls have what it takes. We have some work ahead of us as we get ready for Biola next week, and still more conference games to come." – head coach Bryan Suhovy.
