Game Recap: Men's Water Polo |

Birds Drop Two To Ranked Opponents at Pacific Invite

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific men's water polo team traveled to the Pacific Invite hosted by the University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif. FPU squared off against two ranked opponents, starting with Pacific, and followed by San Jose State.

"First weekend back in almost two years," said head coach Bryan Suhovy. "It was a tough one against top ranked teams. Our youth and inexperience really showed today. This was a really good learning experience for all our young guys. Five of our freshman really stepped up and had a strong showing in there first college career games. Nikita, Pietro, Thilo and Eugenio all played well putting up several positive stats and Ethan made some great saves in the goal. Our returners Clay and Will both played solid and contributed to those positive stats. It will be a season of growth but I'm excited for our future."
