DAVIS, Calif. – The Fresno Pacific women's water polo team played their final regular season matches of the 2021 season against UC Davis on Saturday, falling 17-2 and 13-5 to the Aggies.
 
GAME 1 | HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• The Aggies blanked the Sunbirds 5-0 in the first quarter before owning a 9-1 advantage at the break.
• Lily Dinis got the 'Birds on the board with 3:37 left in the first half.
• The Aggies continued to apply pressure in the second half, owning an 8-1 advantage over the final two quarters.
• Madison Jacques helped the Blue and Orange finish strong with a goal with less than 20 seconds left in the match.

GAME 2 | HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• Much like game one, the Aggies attacked early, leading 8-1 at halftime.
• Sam Dieterly scored a goal in the first half for the 'Birds.
• The Blue and Orange had a strong showing in the final quarter of action, outscoring the Aggies 4-2.
• Amy Zaninovich scored two goals, while Katie Kisling and Isabella Alcazar each added goals in the late barrage.

• The Sunbirds travel to Lebanon, Ill. for the Western Water Polo Association conference championships that start on Friday, April 23 through Sunday, April 25.
