FRESNO, Calif. -  The Fresno Pacific men's soccer team played its' first home match of the season on Saturday, defeating former conference foe The Master's by a final of 2-0. The Blue and Orange got scores from D'Andre Renteria and Antonio Lepe, while keeper Patrick Timmer picked up his first clean sheet of the year.

·       "This was particularly special because we haven't played them in 10 years, and we have a long history of a semi-rivalry with them. Their coach and I are great friends, and he always puts together a competitive team. We didn't know what to expect, but it was nice to see us come back from a tough loss a couple of days ago and improve on the things we've been working on. We will continue to make adjustments, but I was pleased with what we got off the bench today." – head coach Jaime Ramirez
 
SCORING:  
·       (38:27) Alex Blazquez played the ball in from the left side to find D'Andre Renteria at the top of the box, and Renteria found the net for the first time this season. 
·       (85:00) Fellipe Souza got out of trouble near the corner and chipped the ball inside the box, where Antonio Lepe banked it off the far post and in for the score.   
 
 STATS FROM THE GAME:  
·       Timmer gave the 'Birds six saves between the pipes, while the Mustangs got two from Price Anderson and four from Kian Bensend. 
·       FPU outshot their guests 15-8, including a mark of 8-6 in shots on target. 
 
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:  
·       Renteria has scored two goals in as many games to start his collegiate career. 
·       Timmer has now picked up four clean sheets for his career.
